Terms and Conditions

*Spend $50 AUD or more using your Zip Pay or Zip Money account (“Zip Account”) at BIG W to get $20 AUD credit back to your Zip Account (“Offer”). This Offer is only available between 12.01am (AEDT) on 17 September 2020 (AEDT) and 11:59PM (AEDT) on 24 September 2020 ("Offer Period") and is capped at a maximum of $20 AUD credit back per Zip customer (“Maximum Credit Back Amount”).

To be eligible to receive this Offer you must shop online via bigw.com.au or in-store at BIG W, using your Zip Account during the Offer Period. The offer can be redeemed on one purchase only and the purchase must be $50 AUD or more. The $20 AUD credit back amount will be applied to your Zip Account within 14 business days of the purchase being processed.

The $20 AUD credit back is applied to the Zip Account from which the order was made. Credit back shall appear as a transaction on your applicable Zip statement with the following description: BIG W Credit Back. This Offer is subject to your Zip Account (used to participate in the Offer) remaining open and being kept in good standing for the duration of the Offer Period and until the credit back amount is applied to your account. Any credit back amount applied to your Zip Account will result in a reduction of the amount you owe to Zip.

Zip does not make any warranties or representations on the delivery, service, quality, quantity, merchantability, suitability or availability of the products sold via BIG W.

Nothing in these conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any non-excludable right or remedy you have under law including the Australian Consumer Law. Any disclaimer, exclusion, or limitation as provided for in these conditions applies to the full extent permitted by law and subject to any non-excludable right or remedy.

Zip reserves the right to vary the terms and conditions of the Offer and Offer Period at its reasonable discretion by publishing revised terms on bigw.com.au, including (but not limited to) cancelling or in any way modifying this Offer or Offer Period.

Yes, Zip is available both online and in store.

Online:
Simply choose Zip as your payment option at the checkout and follow the prompts to login and complete payment.

In store:
You will need the Zip app on your phone to pay in store. Before you are ready to pay, click on the in store tab in the Zip app to access the barcode you will need to scan to complete your payment.

Yes, Zip can be used as a payment method and the self serve checkouts in store.

Yes, the minimum order value (including delivery) for Zip at BIG W is AUD$50.

Zip Pay:
Zip Pay is an online shopping wallet with a credit limit of up to $1000. Every Zip Pay application is subject to credit approval. You may be approved for a lower limit of $350 or $500.

Zip Money:
Zip Money is a line of credit offering with account limits depending on the retailer. For BIG W, the Zip Money limit is up to $5000 with 3 months interest free on any Zip Money purchase. Establishment, late payment, and other fees may apply. Every Zip Money application is subject to credit approval.

Zip is an additional payment option, allowing you to purchase and receive items straight away, without having to wait until you can pay in full for the order. Using Zip means you can pay your purchase off in weekly, fortnightly or monthly repayments, plus you can secure items before they sell out. More details are available at https://zip.co/.

Zip Pay:
To be eligible to apply for a Zip Pay account, you need to:

  • Be aged 18 years or older
  • Be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Have a valid Australian mobile phone number and email address
  • Have a verifiable Facebook, PayPal, LinkedIn or bank account in their own name
  • Have a good credit history

Zip Money:
To be eligible to apply for a Zip Money account, you need to:

  • Be aged 18 years or older
  • Be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Be employed in some capacity
  • Earn more than $300 per week
  • Have a valid Australian mobile phone number and email address
  • Have a good credit history

Zip can be used to pay for most BIG W products, but can not be used for gift cards and top-up cards.

Additionally, for Zip Money accounts, you will enjoy 3 months interest free on any Zip Money purchase. After the interest-free period ends, your balance will attract an annual interest rate. Yes, you will need to create a Zip Pay or a Zip Money account with Zip prior to completing your purchase with us. Once you have an account set up, for online shopping, simply select Zip at the checkout and log into your account to finalise the transaction. For in store shopping, you will need to scan the barcode from within the Zip app at the register (for both assisted checkouts and self checkout). When you pay for your BIG W online order using Zip, your order will be released for processing and dispatch as per any other order paid for in full at the time of order (eg. by credit card) and you can expect to receive your BIG W parcel according to your chosen delivery option timeframes.

Zip payments can be split with gift card and/or rewards payments if the gift card and/or rewards payment is selected first. However, Zip payments cannot be split with other forms of payment (e.g. credit cards, Paypal, Afterpay, etc.). You cannot split an in store order when paying with Zip.

We aim to process your order as soon as it is received. Unfortunately, this means you cannot cancel or amend an order once it has been placed. However, once you have received your order, you can return it to BIG W in accordance with BIG W’s 90 Day Change of Mind Returns Policy. Just visit your nearest BIG W store or return the item via post using the returns form.

Yes. If a product is not right and you require a refund or exchange then the item can be returned to BIG W in accordance with BIG W’s Returns Policy. In the case of refunds, BIG W will process the refund using the original payment method stated on your proof of purchase, or where BIG W deems appropriate, through an alternative means. Once we process your refund, Zip will be notified and the funds will be credited to your Zip account. Yes you can collect Everyday Rewards points for your Zip purchases. Collect 1 Everyday Rewards point for every $1 you spend at BIG W. * There are a small number of purchases on which you won't collect points. For details, see everydayrewards.com.au/terms. When you shop on www.bigw.com.au, please ensure that you have attached your Everyday rewards card to your BIG W online account. For more information, click here.

Yes, when shopping online, Zip payments can be split with rewards payments if the rewards redemption is selected first. However you cannot split payments with Zip and rewards redemptions in store.
