Delivery Information

The Bicycle Depot Group believes that excellent products should always be complemented by quick, reliable delivery service. For big and bulky goods, shipping charges are calculated based on carton sizes and your location. You'll be able to view delivery costs by entering your postcode in the shopping options section of any product page, or viewing your cart summary during checkout.

Delivery Time Frames

All orders are shipped to you from our Melbourne warehouse.

95% of our orders are dispatched the next business day once payment has been approved. Then, once your Parcel is dispatched, you will be notified via an email with your unique 'Delivery Number' and Delivery details. You will also receive the Carrier's details and their estimated transit time to your address.

Delivery time frames are not guaranteed and are rough estimations given to us by our allocated couriers. Delivery is only available from Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. Please do not allocate hours as the courier company cannot deliver within allocated time frames. All orders are shipped from our Victoria warehouse. Our delivery times can vary based on your location. Please see below as a guide.

Refund or Replacement

Refund or replacement may only take place once an item is declared 'lost in transit'. In accordance with our courier's guidelines, items will be only be declared as 'lost in transit' if the item cannot be located 25 working days after dispatch.

If products are damaged from transit, we apologize for this and will require you to email through to our Technical Support team with your order number, full name, address and photographs of the damage. Our Technical Support team will assess and assist with repairs/parts replacement, and if the damages are not easily fixable, a replacement will be considered.

Short Deliveries and Damage to Packaging

You are responsible for counting the amount of cartons you receive and ensuring that this amount matches the amount on the carrier's delivery note. If this amount does not exactly match what you have received, you must note the number of cartons on the carrier's delivery note. Damage to packaging must be stated on the delivery note next to your signature. You must cross out "delivered in good condition" from the carrier's delivery note (if applicable). If the item has been damaged we will require you to email us at, with a description of the damage and photos attached so we can organize a remedy for the damage. Short deliveries and damage to packaging must be reported to The Bicycle Depot within 2 working days of signing. Neither The Bicycle Depot nor the delivering carrier can be held responsible for short deliveries, damages to packaging and/or items if you do not note them on your delivery note. This does not affect your statutory rights in the event of the goods being faulty.


If, for any reason, we cannot immediately supply you with a product you have ordered, we will let you know over phone or email and provide you with options to amend, exchange, or cancel and refund.

Warranty Information

In the event of a product arriving faulty or damaged, a replacement item will always be sent unless the item is unavailable at which a refund will be given. Please contact The Bicycle Depot Service Department on 1300 436 227 and we will help you process your request.

If you receive the incorrect item please contact The Bicycle Depot Service Centre who will organise to arrange for the correct item to be sent out to you.


Each item is intended for use only for the purpose described and not for any other purpose.

The Australian Consumer Law has introduced new requirements in respect of warranties against defects for goods supplied on and from 1 January 2012.

You may have purchased parts or accessories where the manufacturer provided a warranty against defects (Manufacturer Warranty). Any Manufacturer Warranty is in addition to other rights and remedies of that you may have at law in relation to the goods. The goods that you purchase come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Naturally, any item to be used by a child requires careful adult selection and use should be under adult supervision. Items must only be used by children of an appropriate age. Guidelines are given but the final decision must be made by the selecting adult taking into account the nature of the child concerned. A photographic image may be required to support your warranty claim. In the instance The Bicycle Depot deems the product to have been misused your warranty claim may not be honoured. Warranty spare part requests can take approximately 3 weeks. Some spare parts might need to be sourced directly from our supplier so longer lead times may apply in which instance you will be notified.

Returns and Refunds

Change of Mind Returns

The Bicycle Depot is dedicated to bringing you 100% customer satisfaction. We offer 7 day Change of Mind returns if you change your mind or are simply unsatisfied with our products. The Bicycle Depot will offer you a refund less 15% restocking fee, using your original payment method provided that:

  • You notify us of your intentions to return within 7 days of purchase
  • You have clear proof of purchase
  • The product and packaging is in original condition, unopened and is in re-saleable condition.
  • You accept that a 15% restocking fee will be charged for the return, which will be deducted from the refund amount and;
  • Freight paid will not be refundable, and further freight will be charged if we organise the return with our couriers. In the event of a change of mind return, the cost of the return freight is payable by the customer. A full refund of the goods will be issued as soon as the goods arrive back at our warehouse in re-saleable condition (original packaging). If the goods are sent back used or damaged a refund will not be issued.
