Delivery Information

Shipping costs are influenced by the size and weight of the product and destination. Exact shipping and handling costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to the order total before checkout.

All of our Hampers go out with an Authority to Leave so providing it is safe to leave the delivery, it will be left at the doorstep or in a cool place. If it is unsafe for the parcel to be left at the address a notification card will be left and we can organise a time for redelivery.

Delivery Time Frames

We will endeavour to send out orders within 48 hours, you will be contacted within a reasonable amount of time if a product is out of stock. All orders from BIG W online will be delivered by courier. We cannot guarantee a date or time due to the high volume of deliveries nor are we able to call prior to delivery.

Warranties and Returns


  • In the case of a ‘Same day delivery’, if the recipient is not be available to accept the delivery the Hamper will then be returned to us. Then one of our customer representatives will contact you to arrange a date for redelivery. In this case, a fee of $14.90 will apply.
  • If your Hamper is delivered outside of our delivery territory and the recipient is not available to accept the delivery, there will be a card left in the mailbox. The Hamper will be delivered to the nearest Post office/Depot so that the recipient can either re-organise another delivery or pick up their Hamper at a suitable time.
  • If an order needs to be cancelled during transit, we will attempt to have your Hamper delivered to our Warehouse. In the case that the Hamper is returned successfully, you will then be refunded minus freight costs incurred. For refunds please allow take 2-3 business days for the money to return back to your account*.
  • Hampers with Bite prides itself on both the quality of not only the products and also customer satisfaction. If your gift has been damaged on delivery please contact our customer service team within 5 business days on 1300 795 802 and we will arrange for a replacement Hamper to be sent out immediately.


Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Damaged Goods

  • Hampers with Bite take the upmost care to ensure your package is received in perfect condition and is exactly what you ordered.
  • In the rare situation a consignment has been damaged in transit Hampers with Bite will gladly replace the product in a prompt manner at no extra cost to the purchaser.
  • In the unlikely event you are unhappy with your purchase with Hampers with Bite all we ask is the parcel is returned in the same condition it was received and a full refund will be processed.
