Baby Value is a retail store under the Proprietor of Dorel Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 124078762). Dorel is one of the largest suppliers in the Australian marketplace designing, manufacturing and distributing high quality Juvenile nursery products for over 40 years.

Delivery Information

Home Delivery

The cost of delivery depends on the size of product you are ordering, and your delivery location. The best way to view delivery costs is by entering your postcode in the Shopping Options section of any product page, or by adding your chosen items to your cart and then viewing your cart summary. This will ensure that the delivery costs and options you see are specific to your delivery location.

Estimated Delivery Timeframes

All orders are shipped to you from our Melbourne warehouse. Delivery times vary based on your location, however the following times can be used as a guide:

Warranty, Return & Refunds

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase and online shopping experience.

We understand that sometimes you may wish to return a product you have purchased, so we have set out below our Warranty, Return and Refund Policy to assist you in this process.

Manufacturer Warranty

Dorel Australia warrants that if your product suffers a defect in materials or workmanship at any time within the below criteria:

  1. for products other than car seats, 12 months of your original purchase; and
  2. for car seats, the applicable period specified in Table 1 below (the applicable period varies depending on the type of car seat and the nature of the defect).

Dorel Australia will, at your choice, refund or (where practical) repair or replace your product free of charge once we have established proof of purchase and assess the product to determine the nature of the issue and how we can help you, be it a refund, repair or exchange.

This warranty only applies to the first owner of the product and is not transferable. This warranty does not apply where the defect is caused by improper care (including any failure to use the product in accordance with the recommendations or instructions provided with the product), alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, impact damage or normal wear and tear that may be expected from daily use over an extended period (e.g. wear to wheels, rotating and moving parts etc.). You must retain and provide a copy of your receipt as proof of purchase in order to claim under this warranty and return any accessories and manuals supplied with product.

Dorel Australia will reimburse your reasonable expenses of claiming under this warranty.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights. In particular, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Damaged or Incorrect Product Delivered

We apologise for the inconvenience, we will resend the correct item to you as soon as we can. Please contact the BIG W Contact Centre on 1300 244 999.

Change of Mind Returns

If you are returning the item(s) because you have changed your mind, any postage charge is payable by you. Dorel will offer you a credit note or refund using your original payment method provided that:

  • You return the product within 28 days of purchase;
  • You have clear proof of purchase, typically a receipt at the time you return the item;
  • The product and packaging is in its original condition including manuals and accessories;
  • The item is in re-saleable condition for example original packaging, tags and labels are still

Goods for which a change of mind return is not available:

  • Change table mattresses;
  • Cot mattresses; and
  • Other bedding accessories (for example, but not limited to, mattress protectors)

These products can still be returned if they are faulty, not fit for purpose or do not match the sample or packaging description.

Items to be returned by post are your responsibility until they reach our Customer service team, so please make sure that they are securely packaged.

Items will be assessed and refunds (in the original payment method) will be processed within 7 days of receipt.

If you are experiencing problems operating your product, we strongly recommend that you contact BIG W Contact Centre on 1300 244 999. It is our experience that often when customers believe the product they have purchased is faulty; it can be resolved with some basic 'troubleshooting'.
