To ensure the safety of our customers and team at this time, we ask that you please wear a face mask when collecting your order, where it is mandated by your State or Local Government Area. As part of social distancing regulations, a team member will complete a contactless verification of your collection code and photo ID for all orders. Your name will be recorded on your behalf.
Pick up your order, and we’ll place it directly in your boot, for FREE*. Follow these 4 simple steps:
1. Place your order online and nominate a collection time slot.
2. We will send you an email and/or SMS prior to your nominated collection time to let you know your order is ready to be picked up. This will also contain important safety information relating to our collection zone at your nominated store. Click the link sent via SMS/email to let us know you’re on your way.
3. Click the provided link on the SMS/email to let us know you’re here. No need to get out of your car! Pop open the boot and we’ll look after the rest.
4. We will walk your order to your car. Once the order collection code has been confirmed, and your photo ID has been verified, we’ll place your items straight into your boot.
Things to note:
To enable a true contactless experience, we will ask you to open your door/boot for us. In some cases, we may ask you to assist us with large or awkward items, while still ensuring social distancing practices are followed.If the item does not fit into the car, we can offer home delivery, or you can arrange alternative transport at a later time.
Direct to boot is available subject to product availability at your selected store and is available during the store’s trading hours only, 7 days per week.
Pre-ordered items are delivered in accordance with the advertised delivery time frames.
If your order contains both ‘pre-order’ and ‘non-pre order’ items, the items which are not subject to a 'pre-order’ will be picked, packed and sent separately. Separate delivery fees may be charged for each delivery.
At the checkout, you may grant the carrier authority to leave some goods at the delivery address even if unattended (2 Day Delivery which requires a signature on delivery). However, please note that neither BIG W nor the carrier will be liable for loss or theft of the goods and the goods will be left at your risk. In addition, the carrier retains the discretion not to leave the goods unattended, including where the carrier deems it to be unsafe to do so.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email providing you with a tracking number and link to our delivery partner. Please note that our carrier companies’ delivery policies also apply and that some orders cannot be shipped to selected areas.
For bulky orders or orders containing large or fragile items we charge a delivery fee based on the delivery destination and your items.
The cost of delivery will be displayed in your shopping cart once a delivery address has been entered.
Same Day & 2 Day Delivery will not be available on Bulky and Fragile items.
Note: An order can become bulky when it includes multiple larger products, which would make your package exceed 0.25 cubic meters, 1m in length or 20Kgs. For example, multiple Boxes of Nappies, toilet paper, or adding a quilt with other products could cause the order to go over these metrics.
