We’re here for you Australia

To our Aussie families,

As we begin a new year, the BIG W team and I have been looking forward to a fresh start after a fairly disruptive year...but if last year has taught us anything, it is that whatever 2021 brings, we are in this together.

As Aussies, we have been through a lot in the last ten months: National lockdown, restrictions lifted, social distancing, mandatory masks, no masks, sanitiser, limits to gatherings of family and friends, more sanitiser, more lockdowns, time away from loved ones, border closures, re-introduction of masks….and the list goes on.

Throughout all this, BIG W remains a safe place to shop for your family’s everyday needs. We are so proud of our 18,000 team members who have worked tirelessly to support us all and make a difference where it matters.

You’ve told us how important it has been to help keep your kids entertained for your countless BIG days at home, so you’ve chosen games, puzzles, craft and we’ve kept you active with exercise equipment, bikes, balls, hoops - we’ve done our best to inspire you to make your homes bright and sparkly and of course, who can forget the toilet paper (!).

We have your back, Australia. No matter what comes next. We’ll continue to give you great value for the brands you love when you shop safely with us in store or online.

Hang in there and we hope to see you soon,

Teresa Rendo
BIG W Managing Director (Acting)
