At BIG W, we are focussed on making the necessary changes to ensure you can continue to safely buy the essentials you and your family need. These are challenging times, and we are adhering to Government advice to ensure the highest level of health and safety for our customers and team.
As part of the Woolworths Group, BIG W are now strongly encouraging all customers, team members and visitors to wear face coverings when visiting any of our stores in located in areas flagged as having community transmission by your local government. We will continue to follow any mandatory requirements set out by the government.
When you choose to shop with us in store, please be advised of some additional changes we have put in place across our store network:
Hospital grade cleaning materials are being used routinely across our stores with extra proactive cleaning for stores located in areas of community transmission.
Hand sanitisers, as well as combined cleaning and disinfectant wipes, are available for team members and customers to use.
Fitting rooms are fitted with hand sanitiser for the safety of our teams and customers.
Plexiglass screens are installed at checkouts and service areas where social distancing can not be maintained.
Cashless ‘tap and go’ payments are encouraged.
Use your trolley and floor markings as a guide at checkouts or at the Service Desk to help maintain a safe distance from others.
Customer numbers in store will be limited, and during busy periods store teams will adhere to a ‘one in, and one out’ system.
