Layby

We are pleased to offer you a Layby service for purchases of $50 or more - both in store, and online.

In-store Layby

For a layby placed in a BIG W store, we require a 10% deposit and a $2.00, non-refundable service fee for a 10 week term. Fortnightly payments are required, or the in-store Layby may be cancelled. Interim payments may be made at any front-end checkout in the store where the layby is held. Extended layby periods are available at selected times of the year and we offer extended layby periods for aged pensioners. Please contact your local store for more details.

In-store Layby is not available at the following stores:

  • Auburn NSW
  • QV melbourne
  • Doncaster
  • Box Hill
  • Canberra City
  • Canberra Airport
  • Macarthur QLD

Online Layby

For a layby placed online at bigw.com.au, we require a 10% deposit and a $2.00, non-refundable service fee for a 12 week term. You can choose to pay in weekly, fortnightly or monthly installments. Payments are automatically deducted from your nominated credit card, or a debit card with a Visa or Mastercard logo. Your online layby may be cancelled if scheduled installments are not made. Interim payments may be made by calling our contact centre on 1300 244 999. Extended layby periods are available at selected times of the year. Exclusions

Excludes seasonal clearance, discontinued items and selected products (e.g. perishable goods and chlorine).
