Parcel Pickup and Home Delivery from one of our BIG W stores
Simply advise our checkout operator or service assistant when you are making a purchase in store at BIG W to take advantage of these two convenient services. (Charges will apply for home delivery and may vary by location). Please contact your local store for more details on charges and delivery areas.
Can I collect my online order from my nearest store?
Unfortunately at this stage we are unable to offer this service. The only exception to this is for digital photo prints and photo gifting ordered on www.bigwphotos.com.au.
Are there faster delivery options available?
An express delivery service is available on some products and postcodes. A premium will be charged for this express service as your order will use a courier service rather than the postal service. Refer to the delivery section tab for each product for availability of this service.
Will you take away my old item when they deliver the new one?
Unfortunately we are currently unable to dispose of your old items, unless specified.
Am I able to provide/ specify special delivery instructions?
You can provide any special delivery instructions in the text box during checkout when you enter your delivery address. These instructions should include anything that can help the delivery driver to find your address but unfortunately we are unable to adhere to specific delivery times.
Can I split orders by delivery options?
Items that can be collated into one delivery will be highlighted as one delivery in checkout. Orders may be split into multiple deliveries if they are not able to be collated or are fulfilled from a different location. Each delivery has different delivery options available (for example an express delivery) dependant on the items included in the delivery, however, you are unable to split your delivery into different delivery options. What do the different statuses mean in ‘My orders’ within ‘My account’?
Order being processed: Your order is being processed
Order Partially Shipped: At least one item within your order has been despatched however there are still remaining item(s) in your order to be despatched
Shipped: Your entire order has been despatched
Order Completed: Your entire order has been delivered
Partially Delivered: At least one item has been delivered however there are still remaining item(s) to be delivered
Delivered: Your entire order has been delivered
Cancelled: Your entire order has been cancelled
Returned: An item(s) has been returned
How will large items be delivered?
Any large/oversized items like fridges or trampolines ordered will require a specialty delivery service. To ensure the highest quality of service, we will contact you directly to arrange a suitable timeframe for your delivery. In certain postcodes with the appropriate site access we will be able to deliver these larger items to their specified room or yard.
Will I be notified when a large / oversized item will be delivered?
Yes, you will be notified by the delivery provider or our Customer Service Centre to inform you of the timeframe for your large/oversized item delivery.
Am I able to send an order as a gift to someone and not have the order value disclosed to the recipient?
You can have a gift message added to your order however a receipt will be included with the order as proof of purchase. Your gift messages can be added during checkout by ticking the box on the delivery details section.
Can I reserve products online for pick up in store?
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer the feature to reserve products online and pick up in store.
When and how will pre-orders be delivered?
Pre-orders are usually only available for collection and payment after release date which is specified on both the pre-order form and also on the pre-order confirmation email. We will also send you a reminder email approximately two days prior to the release date reminding you to pick up the pre-order. Pre-orders are usually held for the customer in store for one week after release day after which the item is returned to the store floor for sale.
