CAPPED DELIVERY COSTS
When you order several small or standard products, we cap your delivery costs.
  • Metro: just $8 for an unlimited number of small and standard items
  • Regional: just $15 for an unlimited number of small and standard items
  • Rural: just $20 for an unlimited number of small and standard items
  • Heavy & Oversized: items are charged individually

To find out the size an item, click on the 'Specification' tab on its product page. Item size is displayed in 'Delivery Type' field.
FAST DELIVERY
Delivery times will vary depending on where you live and the product you have ordered. Most products at bigw.com.au can be shipped to anywhere in the Australia Post Network with a few restrictions:
  • BIG W does not currently ship internationally.
  • Heavy or Oversized items cannot be shipped to certain remote areas including Far North Queensland, Northern, Remote & Country WA, Norfolk Island and other Australian island territories. Delivering bulky products to these areas is very complex and prohibitively expensive. This only affects a small number of items.
TRACK YOUR ORDER
You can track the progress of your delivery for the majority of orders. Just visit 'My Account', or click on the link in your order confirmation email.

We ship small items (e.g. books, DVDs, gift cards, and video games) via standard Australia Post letter delivery. You can see the progress of these kinds of orders up until they've left our warehouse but not while in transit. Similarly, a tracking link will not be provided for items that ship direct from a BIG W supplier. Find more details on delivery tracking here
ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE
It's easy to get an estimated delivery date for your order. Just click the 'View Cart' link located in the top right corner of every page, enter the delivery postcode, and click 'Go'. The estimated delivery date for your items will then be displayed. Please note that delivery times will vary based on the size of items in your order and the delivery method used.


Most orders are dispatched from our Sydney warehouse and delivered by Australia Post. Deliveries are made between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Some of our products are delivered to you directly from our suppliers. Delivery times for these items may vary from products shipped to you from our Sydney warehouse. These products are clearly marked on the website with the message "Item ships directly from vendor". Delivery costs and timeframes for these items can be obtained by entering your postcode in your cart summary or on any product page and clicking 'GO'. Note that a tracking link will not be provided for orders that are sent direct from a BIG W supplier.
