How do I create an Online Layby?

Creating an online layby is as easy as 1,2,3...

How do I know the status of my payments?

You'll receive communication from us by email every step of the way, so you will always know the status of your payments and delivery.

 

Online Layby Delivery
When will my Online Layby be delivered?

Delivery of your online layby order will commence after your final layby installment has been paid.

 

Can I have my Toy Spectacular Online Layby delivered as soon as I have paid for it?

Toy Spectacular Online Layby orders must be finalised by October 15 2011, however all these orders will be delivered closer to Christmas. Deliveries will commence from November 28, 2011 and will be completed before Christmas. If you need your order sooner, you can use our Buy Now option for immediate delivery.

 

Can I pick up my Online Layby from store?

Your Online Layby is only available to be delivered to your home or work. We are unable to deliver it to your nearest store for this event.

 

Can I have my Online Layby delivered as soon as I have paid for it?

Online Layby Payment
How do I pay for my Online Layby?

You can choose a payment plan to suit your budget and needs: you can select what day you start your payments, how often you would like to pay (weekly, fortnightly or monthly) and how quickly you would like to pay it off.

There are two payment methods we accept for your Online Layby orders; a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Diners) or a debit card displaying a Visa or Mastercard logo.

 

Do I have to pay a deposit for my Online Layby order?

During our extended Online Layby period a 10% deposit is required to place an Online Layby. The minimum deposit amount is automatically calculated and shown on the layby options screen. A $2 administration fee applies to all orders.

 

How will I know where my payment plan is up to for my Online Layby order?

You'll receive communication from us by email every step of the way so you know the status of your payments and delivery. If you register with us you'll also have access to this in you're My Account section on the website.

 

What do I do if payment fails again?

If payment retry is unsuccessful, your order will remain on 'Payment Failed' status. Any future scheduled payments on your layby order will not be processed. You will need to contact one of our customer service associates to process an ad hoc payment to activate your layby payment schedule again.

 

Will my layby order be cancelled?

Your order may be cancelled if it continues to remain on 'Payment Failed' status. You will receive a notification email if your order is pending cancellation. To prevent this, you can call one of our customer service associates to make an ad hoc payment and keep your online layby order active.

 

Can I cancel my layby order?

If you wish to cancel your layby order, you can email or call one of our customer service associates to process a refund of any successful amounts already paid. Please note that the $2 layby admin fee is not refundable.

 

How can I get my order's payment schedule back on track?

One of our customer service associates will be able to process an ad hoc payment or a change of card payment to have your layby order back on track again. To do this, please contact BIG W customer service on 1300 244 999 (option 2) during the hours of 8am – 6pm (AEST) Monday to Fridays.

 

Why would a payment be unsuccessful?

A bank may decline transactions in many instances, such as:

  1. when an expiry date and debit/credit card number does not match;
  2. if a debit or credit card has been cancelled or has had restrictions placed on it, or;
  3. if not enough funds are available to debit

If your account was active and sufficient funds were available at the time your previous scheduled payment was due, we ask that you please contact your bank for further assistance.

 

How can I find out more about my payment schedule or payment details?

If you wish to confirm the amount to be deducted or the account you nominated for this layby order, please refer to your Layby payment schedule. Your Layby payment schedule was included in the order confirmation email that was sent to you when you first created your Layby order. If you have a registered account with BIGW, you can also access your order details via the 'My Account' page at www.bigw.com.au.
