The Symphonica Toscanini from the Basilica of St Mark's in Venice in 2007, commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of Toscanini's death. The concert also features the 11-year-old child prodigy Lorin Maazel. DVD 2: Beethoven: Missa Solemnis feat. The Saxon State Orchestra of Dresden. Recorded at the legendary inaugural concert that accompanied the reopening of the Frauenkirche in Dresden (2005).This DVD includes a bonus film on the reconstruction of Frauenkirche, destroyed in World War II. DVD 3: Bach: St John's Passion feat. Masaaki Suzuki and recorded live in Tokyo. Performed by the great Bach expert Masaaki Suzuki and his famous Collegium Japan (2000). DVD 4: Bach: Mass in B minor feat. the Gewandhaus Orchestra of Leipzig. Recorded in Bach's own St Thomas's Church in Leipzig in 2005. This DVD includes an introduction to the composition by Herbert Blomstedt.
