The fallout is immense, shaping the course of the year to come for many. Vincent develops a new relationship with Beth which turns ugly as she begins to wreak havoc on his & the lives of those around him. Cates close involvement and support for Vincent during this time develops into something deeper between the pair. 2005 includes many pulse racing moments; Dan and Jessica are trapped by a crazed gunman continuing his a murderous rampage. A car explosion rocks a local supermarket, sending waves of paranoia through the community with fears about terrorism. And rival bikie gangs hit the Emergency Department leaving Frank and Dan to deal with a war zone. Young Ambo Stuart struggles with depression and a developing relationship with Jessica. Whilst Charlotte goes through continually tough times in life and love, things begin to look up late in the year with the entrance of a handsome stranger. As the team farewell Terri Sullivan forever in 2005, they also prepare for the marriage of a long serving colleague in the season finale. "
